Breathing consciously is an obvious and forgotten act. The human being completely depends on his breathing . But are you really aware of this process? Are you really aware of the in-breath and the out-breath?

Most people, immersed in the noisy activity of everyday life, completely forget about breathing. They breathe in and out automatically, without feeling the energy of life entering their body. Many unconsciously block the air in the clavicles, not allowing it to reach the belly. These people often suffer from stress, anxiety, fear or blocks.

However, mindful breathing can ease this pain : Breathing can be the antidote to depression; the cure for stress, confusion, fear or desolation.

This wonderful tool regulates the processes of the physical, mental and emotional body : through conscious breathing, we can relax the body, calm the mind and appease hurtful emotions.

Knowing how to dose vital energy, also known as "prana", is a skill that can fill us with health and provide longevity. It can connect us with harmony and make us feel at peace.

In short, knowing how to breathe well is synonymous with happiness and well-being.

Why breathe consciously :

- increases the number of red blood cells in the blood,

- improves the body's ability to assimilate food, thus facilitating digestion,

- favors the functioning of the nervous system, thus relaxing the mind,

- keeps the pituitary gland in good condition (responsible for producing, among many others, growth hormone),

- increases the vitality of the heart, thus reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Also, by breathing consciously, we can identify our thoughts and distance ourselves from them . We can slow down mental neurosis and think more clearly. We can observe emotions, regulate and appease them. Through breathing, we can own our body, its movements and its pain or suffering .

In the traditional practice of Yoga, there are different breathing exercises, also known as " pranayamas ", which serve different purposes: purifying the mind, warming the body, eliminating toxins, providing order and lucidity, cooling the body, increasing lung capacity. ... By studying the art of pranayama, what we are really doing is investigating the power that is found in our body. About the power that we all possess and that allows us to own our temple. Mindfulness is another perfect tool to develop awareness of breathing. Through a specific and very simple technique, the individual manages to immerse himself in the miraculous current of breathing, thus connecting mind and body. Living like this in the moment.
