Ayurvedic Water Bottle Elements

Inspired by the Ayurvedic practice of tamra jal, or storing water in copper vessels, this luxurious bottle, made of 100% natural copper, neutralizes toxins while ionizing and balancing the pH of the water.

According to Ayurveda, when you drink water stored in a copper container, it has the ability to balance the three doshas Vata, Pitta and Kapha and also has many benefits for your health.

How to use: For best results, fill your bottle the night before or six hours before drinking. Drink a glass first thing in the morning and 2-3 glasses throughout the day. Replace with fresh water every night. Just fill it with tap or filtered water at room temperature (do not use mineral water); this means that it is not suitable for juices, smoothies, coffee or flavored water of any kind.

6. Do not fill with hot water, tea or juices
7. If it gets dark, soak with water, lemon and salt

Solid copper behavior:
Copper reacts with oxygen producing copper oxide. Moisture catalyzes this oxidation process and increases the reactivity of the copper, producing the corrosion of the patina. Because of that, and because this product is made of solid copper, it may change color over time. Cleans up easily with lemon and water; and for deep cleaning it is recommended to add sea salt and shake the closed bottle. After this, it is only necessary to rinse with water and use a brush to remove any residue from the most difficult areas of the stopper to remove any acid remains. It is also recommended to add a little coconut oil to the plug to get good lubrication.
