A cause that we hold close to our hearts and that helps to improve the lives of many young girls in rural India.
We want to do our bit to make this world a kinder place and we want to do it with you. That's why, every time you buy a garment you will be helping a teenage girl in rural India. Through our affiliation with Dharma Life, for every item sold, we will give a sanitary kit with toiletries and educational materials to a woman in India (this kit is intended to help and raise awareness among women about the importance of safe hygiene habits during their periods - a taboo subject in rural India). Thousands of young women have already benefited from this initiative, and with your help, many more will benefit in the coming years.
What is Dharma Life?
is an association whose mission is to provide every household in Indian villages with products and services that improve the quality of life of citizens and thus achieve a sustainable livelihood.
Dharma Life creates social impact through entrepreneurship by providing solutions that improve the quality of life of Indian citizens. Its goal for 2025 is to reach 50 million people, through a network of 100,000 Dharma Life entrepreneurs.
Among its projects are those aimed at women and their social integration. To this end, the normalization of something as natural and basic as the menstrual period is included in their education and that of those around them, something hitherto totally inconceivable.
Through the knowledge and understanding of this biological facet of women, we proceed to its normalization, illustrating through images, videos, practical classes and explanations, the procedure to follow to tackle the pains of the cycle, as well as the necessary hygienic care for it. Likewise,
encourages the strengthening of relationships between women, especially between mothers and daughters, so that they can talk openly about the subject and are able to help each other.
